Kenneth Ralph BIO
Ken joined the firm in 2015 with over twenty-five years of experience in public service, primarily with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in Hackensack. Ken applies his extensive experience at trial, plea negotiation and case evaluation for clients with criminal and municipal court cases. Ken represents the firm as a public defender in the East Rutherford Municipal Court, North Arlington Municipal Court and Lyndhurst Municipal Court. Ken also represents police officers and other public officials in disciplinary actions.
Ken holds Criminal Trial Attorney Certification by the New Jersey Supreme Court, a distinction held by a limited number of criminal defense attorneys in the state. He also serves as a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Criminal Practice Committee, representing the private bar on matters of statewide importance.
During his tenure as an assistant prosecutor, Ken served as Section Chief of the Special Victims Unit, the Bergen County Narcotics Task Force and the Grand Jury Section. His trial experience includes homicide, armed robbery, sexual assault, child abuse, and drug distribution cases. He has presented expert witness testimony in specialized areas, including medicine, psychology, forensics, and child abuse evaluation. Ken also served as a faculty member and lecturer at several national trial advocacy-training programs for prosecutors.
Ken is a lifelong resident of Bergen County, and was educated in New Jersey at Drew University in Madison and Seton Hall Law School. After law school, he served a judicial clerkship in Bergen County with the Superior Court, Civil Division.
